pretty sure it was 100 mil 20 years ago. It dates back to the old black dye tub bug and a rogue gm was involved. if its only 100 mil then I guess what is inside of it isn't worth much at all.

I remember winning a hue 1 black dyed wooden box back around 2003 for 10m, the kind you can buy from provisioner, at a Majestic Oaks Auction on GL when their auction house was at bucs gate near Vesper. Well I was on a newbie character walking my box back to Vesper Bank when a swarm of the undead mobs from Vesper cemetery killed me. No one I knew at the time on GL was up to help me loot my corpse, so I spent some time trying to do it on my own, but eventually my corpse decayed and I lost the box. I tried to kill mobs that might have looted it, but I was a pathetic newbie on GL. Horrifying at the time, but just one of many examples of losing rares due to unfortunate circumstances.
