Has anyone seen any items with either of these two prefixes?
Prefix: Auspicious - Theme: Luck
Prefix: Charmed- Theme: Enhance Potions (incl. Balanced)
A prefix won't be generated if it could only result in one choice of property for a class of item. The above two can only be generated in their suffix versions. This is because the Auspicious / of Fortune package only contains the Luck property. Bows cannot have Enhance Potions, and non-bows cannot have Balanced.
This also means that certain prefixes won't be generated on certain types of items. For example, "Vicious" won't be generated on armor, but the suffix "of Slaughter" can be. For armor, the Vicious / of Slaughter package only contains Hit Chance Increase, which is something the legacy loot generator didn't allow. There is no Mighty jewelry for the same reason: that package only generates +STR for those items.
It is possible that the Luck and Potions packages will be used as prefixes in the future, as different systems and dungeons begin to generate loot differently, or as item properties are added.
I'm curious to see how high luck could be on say a: Auspicious Buckler of Fortune?
The system will not generate names where the prefix and suffix are the same property package, so an Auspicious Whatever of Fortune wouldn't be possible even if Auspicious could appear as a prefix. Similarly, there would never be a Vicious Whatever of Slaughter, etc..
On top of that, even though item properties are now randomly generated with higher maximum values, there are caps on the new loot generator. It just won't generate Luck higher than 150 (or 170 on a bow).
