Spend the money and get a mythic token you get to set 5 skills to 90 i haven't actually trained taming in years
I'm doing it naturally, no money spent. Do you know if power hour exists?

hopefully your total skill amount is low, use lots of alacrity scrolls, and +animal taming jewels and you could stay on ice island for a while taming. Alacrity scrolls HELPS ALOT. I would use them. This will get you to 90 or close to 90 in a day

if you want to do it the hard long way, log in once a day for a .1 gain. you can buy the token on atl(4 month ago, they were 185 mil), or spend the real cash for one. even once a day gains with alacrity scrolls is slow going. because of the delay in taming, it can take weeks to get to 90 skill taming 2-4 hours a day
Power Hour for characters does not exist anymore on official UO servers, not for a long time (last time i remember it was during Renaissance, maybe Third Dawn). A version of Power Hour does exist for pets though, where they receive accelerated progress towards slot leveling if you're a Tamer leveling pets.
@inaliFTW - There is no longer Power Hour but there is GGS (Guaranteed Gain System) where you will be guaranteed a gain every X hours based on total skill points. As Draza said, it can be slow but I did this on my second tamer where I would just log in once a day and get my GGS gain and log out. You can further game this system (which I did) by using an alacrity scroll (these scrolls only last 15min of game play) because when you log out you conserve the alacrity scroll time but will get the multiplier every day. I used 1 alacrity scroll for taming (they can be expensive) which lasted me about a month of logging in for 30seconds to get my gain and logging out.
Thanks for the info folks! Looks like I'll be doing a tad bit of taming grinding. Or, farming peerless bosses and things like Navery. Does anyone have a list of good farm spots for items that sell for a lot of gold besides these? Then I guess I can get the 220 million token if still needed.

Shadowguard, need Time of Legends expansion.
Scalis, needs High Seas booster to summon and to use the drops, but can fight it without HS if someone else pulls it up.
Corgul, needs High Seas booster to get to the island.
Pirates and beacons for maritime cargo, needs High Seas booster I think.
Cora in dungeon Covetous. Long respawn timer though, 1 hour?
Blackthorns dungeon for Minax drops.
Treasure maps for alacrity, transcendence and power scrolls.

When a major event hits that is easy like the spring one... just gather the things other players don't want to spend time on and sell those. For example, in the previous event I was selling eggs that took me about an hour to gather for 10 mil.
