Using IE8

@step 5 - Had to right click picture, choose Propeties, and get the URL from there.

Hovered over Username at top right of screen for the Your Profile Page list & clicked Signature.

Need a space between the URL & the [/img] at the end or it wants to include the [/im with the URL .

The preview now shows the sig pic

using { brackets to demonstrate instead of the proper [ so that you can see it, and it doesn't treat it as code. What you had was:
{img}{url}http etc{/url}{/img}
What you need is
{img}http etc{/img}
