[Cooking] Portable Cooking Device

Hi All,

As I recall from the old days one could cook from a heating stand, that does not seem to work anymore.

Is there any item that will allow cooking whilst hanging with friends at the bank orso, and not be stuck alone at home?

Only thing I tried that works sofar is using kindlings and the joat camping skill, but the fire goes out pretty fast.

Any other ideas/suggestions ?

I think the heating stands still work...at least it did in my test 5 seconds ago.
Remember the heating stand needs to be on the ground near you.
It doesn't work if it is in your pack.

I believe another way is to start a fire with kindling....scrap a tree or log with a knife I believe to get it...then with fry pan, cook....

I think that was how it was done if I am wrong sorry its been awhile.
