I miss the first few weeks of SA when all the old useless artifacts actually became semi-useful when I could imbue another property on them. Since most arties are already 5-modded, most cannot be imbued, and very few at most 2 imbueable properties, of which none are very overpowered. Please bring this option back. I already noticed that the new HS arties have many mods making them automatically not imbueable. What are your thoughts on giving useless items a more diversified outlook compared to more useless junk that sits around and collects dust...or at least bring back a Clean Up Britannia campaign again.

some i believe should be, some shouldnt.
if its a matter of all or nothing, ill have to go with all. theres just too many possiblites out there, and it would also make osme of the "dead" arties revivable and worth seeking out. maybe as a balance they wouldnt be able to be pof'd

At minimum, they should make minor artifacts imbuable.

I dont know why they took arti imbuing away in the first place. A lot of artifacts are useless when compared to other stuff you can get. But, if you are able to imbue them, then they become viable alternatives.

I think they took it away, thinking that the Negative DI artifacts could get overpowered from the additional imbuing room they'd give, but they forgot that most of the negative DI were ALREADY 6 or more properties, and couldn't be altered in the first place!

On the other hand, I did make myself a really nice Melisande's Corroded Hatchet for my lumberjack (who only fights in self defense), and I think those are still Imbuable.

I may be wrong, but I think they took away imbuing on artifacts because the new properties on SA artifacts weren't included in the system. Being able to imbue some of those without having those special properties have any value might lead to some real balance issues.

It would be nice if they could include those properties in the system without allowing them to be imbued onto items, then make artifacts imbuable again. Or perhaps they could include them in the system period and allow them to be imbuable. All those special SA properties are underutilized from what I see, which is a shame.

edit: Or an even simpler short term solution might be to simply not allow imbuing on artifacts with SA properties.

I dont believe that was the case but that brings up another point that there is a lot of unfinished business with the ingredients/item properties for imbuing with the SA expansion. Things such as fairy dragon wings, fey wings, essense of pestilence, etc I hope were all supposed to be used for the new item properties but didnt make it to the SA release then were overlooked and forgotten.

I think the DEV team would really benefit from a panel of UO players that have actually played this game for 10+ years to really guide them in what Ultima was all about, and what things need fixing before giving us new completely useless things such as more consumable pies that last a few mins. At least be more considerate also to our japanese players and include 'sushi and sashimi' for the new rare fish! how many of us have gone to a japanese restaurant and order specialty rolls with cool names? it totally fits for the high seas along with the stupid pies. Duh. I cannot believe how the devs dont think about the content they release nor ask for player input prior to releasing major updates/expansions...blows my mind.

A lot of the new properties are broken, but they won't even acknowledge it. Hit curse doesn't work. Mana Drain doesn't work, Fatigue doesn't work. I tested it with a 120 ninja and focus strike and still nothing with the %'s at 120%. All it did was break my weapon and make it hit mana drain 0% instead of 60%. I had to have a GM come and fix it to display properly.
