Many of you have heard the stories, those zerg guild parties thrown for members, paid for by RMT of UO gold and items. They sound great, and I was just wondering how many current players have attended one and if they are as great as they sound.

I've never heard any stories of wild parties paid for by real money "earned" from selling items in UO. However, this thread made me think once again about how government agencies, like the Internal Revenue Service in the United States, view RMT. I bet they'd love to get in on one of those parties and see who is profiting from selling virtual goods and most likely not reporting it as income or paying taxes on it.

Geek stuff like this have their own language, they abbreviate constantly, showing real age, not actual.

Reminds me of driving past a convention center on comic book day and seeing grown adults dressed up as spiderman or something.
