Poisoning using Ninja Darts & Shurikens

How does this works? I've heard stories that with 120 ninja you can DP. Is this accurate or do you actually need poisoning? Trying to tweak a template and knowing this would help

As far as I know you need poisoning but on my temp I ran poison anyway. Darts and stars are brilliant as they are a free way to keep up poison darts up close stars from afar. If you do pvm don't underestimate parasitic poison. The Lil heals it gives can make a big difference. Also remember that toad form gives u poison when hit if you run outta charges or darts etc and snake form means you poison when you hit stuff. Having poisoning increases the level of the . poison by 1 so if u apply dp you get LP a lot of the time. Hope this helps.

You don't need Poisoning skill to poison people with darts/stars.

True but he is asking about dp / lp. I thought you would just get poison without.
