Please feel sorry for me

Not really, well yeah really. I had my tonsils out yesterday morning and to tell you its horrible would be an understatement. My face is swollen, my throat hurts and so do my ears. You know when you were a kid and thought omg how great would it be to be able to eat ice cream for every meal. Trust me when I tell you its not what I thought it would be. Number one you can't even taste what your eating, number two its cold and hurts like hell, and finally trying to swallow it makes you want to gag and puke.

I don't know how long I will be this miserable but once I am feeling better look out Siege I will be back.

Oh and if none of this post makes sense I blame the meds!!

Ice cream was an easy way to get kids to eat something cold to keep the swelling down. In reality, the best thing you can do is eat ice chips. Kids don't usually go that route thus the ice cream bribery. Its no wonder our country is #1 for number of obese children.

Come see Vinny in Safe Haven, he whipped up a shake outta that ice cream for you. *Known side effects of Vinny's shakes may or may not include symptoms of limbs swelling, Foul smells coming outta everything on your person and unwanted hair in spots you could not dream of having hair in *......Cheers!!!

Get well soon...the health issues are troubling. Bust out the meds, get a dragon out of your stable, and just roar back in.

Awww... That sucks! Hope you feel better soon. Try some soft, crushed ice or a Sonic Slush! Bahama Bucks, if you have one near you, has some heavenly shaved ice that would work nicely, as well.

I was supposed to have my tonsils out when I was 17, but the surgery was cancelled for some reason. Can't remember why, but we never rescheduled. Curiously enough, when I changed doctors several years ago she noted that I didn't have my tonsils! I corrected her and said that I never had them removed and she said, "well, they're gone!"

I guess they abandoned ship when I wasn't looking, but I haven't had a sore throat in at least 10 years!
