If i understand right we can train our pets skills as long as our pets is in range of 20 +-
But when i take my drag to Swoop,si dont get any gains even if i am in 20 range.

There's something hidden going on with training. It isn't just straight within 20 for tactics and within 40 for wrestling. Those are the general rules, however, certain mobs will train combat skills, while others will not, even though they fall within that range. It may have something to do with the parry skill that we have no way of knowing what it is.

So having said that, the best mob I have found for training dragons is the sphynx. Shadow elementals work well up to around 115 wrestling, but after that the sphynx seems to work much faster. I didn't pay that much attention when I tried training on swoops, but it does seem to me that I had the same experience you did, no gains.

my dragon gained very good up to 124 killing balrons, especially paragons

they way 120-124 was faster than 116 to 120 ... weird

I have noticed this too. First noticed it while training a dexer. Creature type of what you train on matters more than the skill level.

Hmm what we got that has 900+ in hp we can regulary beat on?
Rotting, sphynx, swoop and hiyru.
Correct me if im wrong but beating on same target is better than run throu multiple targets?

I've not tried it, but maybe a paragon rotter would help. They sure last long enough lol.
