When the Kingdom Reborn client was available we had the ability to co-own multiple houses per character and to have more then 10 characters co-owned per house. now that Kingdom Reborn it is not available we no longer have that ability. my request Dev Team is please add the ability in the Stygians abyss advanced client to co-own multiple houses per character and to co-own more then 10 characters per house thanks.

For people with multiple accounts, we use the friend status to grant additional accounts access so that characters can get to any items in any house. We use the friend status instead of co-owner because there are not enough co-owner slots - but this means that we can never have friends at our houses - unless we give them the same access as our own characters.

What are the benifits of co-owning houses?
There are a few benefits to co-owning a house ill list a few.
  1. Co-owning a house lets you add and remove deeded items you cant do that if your friended or have access.
  2. having all your accounts and characters co-owned to each house lets you have the ability to bring all your chest and containers to co-owner or higher letting your friends be friended but not have access to your chest or containers unless you want them too.
  3. having all your accounts and characters co-owned to each house gives you the ability to friend someone to your house with any character you want. you cannot add someone as a friend if your only friended or have access.
  4. This is especially beneficial for those with 3 or more accounts.
anyway I am sure there are other benefits.

I Just remembered another benefit of being co-owned you can secure and lock things down while co-owned but if your only friended you can only lock things down.

Thats my major pet hate! I would LOVE to be co owned to more than one house on one character.

I have a character that is co owned to four different houses because when kingdom reborn was around you could change people from friend to co owner. Can't do it anymore tho :sad3:

I been Harping about this since beta...

Seems no one on the DEV team cares to listen though..... I have BEGGED and PLEADED to PLEASE give us back the KR housing menu...

As it is right now... my new gargoyle feels like an outsider... He has Zero access to any of my homes but the one his account owns...

I have had to take a MAJOR step backwards at my main house because of this. I had to remove my ingame "friends" from my house menu leaving my friends out in the cold because I couldn't access my things on my gargoyle and had to go back to the old way of being only a friend in my own house... which honestly I find irritating and annoying...

Can't secure anything... can only lock stuff down.... can't use a deeded Item... can't destroy anything with an axe... the list goes on and on....

With 8 accounts it's a royal pain to be back to being only friended again. I'm also sad because I have 2 houses that I "could" enlarge right now..... yet I don't because I would lose all my co-owner status there.... which would stink...

I'm still sore over being told in beta that they "weren't working on housing right now" and that I'd need to "Wait" to submit any issues with housing... trust me I have a HUGE list... Which I have submitted again.... and again..... and again...

Housing design and deco are to me what makes UO the ultimate RP game on the market... there just is NO comparison...

To me the whole housing system puts UO on top. So I am irritated and annoyed when something that I feel is a MAJOR component in the game is largely brushed aside.

Other than those reasons already mentioned is being able to use the deco tool. Only coowners above can use the tool in a house so having all my chars coowned means they can drop or raise an item as needed.

It also means that if someone wants me to do some deco for them they can coown me and I do not have to DROP the coownership of my own places.

I won't deco for others anymore since I can't put my chars back to the coownership that KR let them have.

It is such a pain and unnecessary. I don't see why in both clients they just dont change the 'number' in the code for both coownership on a character and coownership on a house to 999 or whatever it is.

You can have multitudes of friends and be friended to multitudes of houses so there is certainly no 'coding' reason why that number can't be changed, the fact that in KR you could do it and it had ZERO impact on the game or on any other player other than those thankful for the ability demonstrates that.

I have been requesting this for at least 5 years, it was only KR that finally gave us the ability to do it and made life so much easier. Sad thing is I think in KR it was just an 'oversight' not even an intentional change.

I have 5 accounts and 35 characters, anyone want to know how darn frustrating it is to try to remember who is coowned to 'what' and who is friended to 'what'. Unfortunately since they turned off KR (with NO warning I might add, they should of left KR operable even if it never got patched, or just turn it back on) I had to take ownership of another house so now I am back to asking that question each time I am in a character. It is a real penalty for multi-account holders and I would have thought that keeping those of us who run multiple accounts reasonably happy would be a good thing. Especially when it is such a simple simple request.

GOD YES PLEASE you guys still have a bunch of deco related stuff broken at least give us this back... Even if i have to use the EC it will give me a good reason to actually install that dumb waste of EA's money.

I am not a greedy person and usually take what they give us graciously. However, to give us something and then take it away is for the birds!!! Had we still had this ability my husband and I wouldn't have lost over 200 million gold worth of stuff!! We would have had all our boxes set to co-owner rather then friends and then when my cousins acct. was broken into those that did it would not have been able to take anything from my houses!! Now I feel bad when I don't "friend" people to my house, however I will not be taken from again.
So Please Dev's don't make me feel like a sub-par friend anymore by keeping my house safe and bring back the multi-co-owner!!!!!!

Benefits to co-owning, special on Siege:

1. I use co-owner secure for my own and family accounts
2. I use friend secure for friends
3. I use friend secure for young players who need a place to cal home but still have house on old shard. I like giving them a bed and a box with a key. When friend, they can lockdown the key in a keyring and only box owner and the house owner can click the key to unlock box. It also allow them to lock down a few deco in their corner/room
4. I also like letting my vendor owner have a locked box.
I do not use the access list much as I like having my houses public.

The KR client did allow this, but now it's ruined and my char who is co-leader in the NEW guild can't be co-owner to NEW Guildhouse after the owner moved it as she already are co-owner to most of my houses except my new castle.

In my new castle, I won't be able friend my friends or let young players have a private locked box as 2 of my own chars can't be co-owners to it and I must use friend secure for my chars.

Please, remove the limit to co-owner so it works like in the KR client.

and comes with the additional side benefit that houses that seem to have too many resources, or lots of certain items that are questionable would be fairly easy to pin to other accounts through co ownership. As opposed to having to guess at who are actually friends and who are the same player on other accts.

Use Grant Access to allow people you don't trust in the house. Friend for all your characters.

Use Grant Access to allow people you don't trust in the house. Friend for all your characters.
All of my houses are and will always be PUBLIC... Everyone has access to my house.. what I want to be able to give my friends access to a few things in my house.. but I can't... because I am relegated to "friend" status.. in my own home.... which I think stinks, quite frankly. What I'd really like is to be the owner of all my homes. What would be the best... would be if I could link all my accounts into one... put all the characters on ONE account... all my soulstones would work with all my characters .... all my homes would be owned by all my characters and none of them would be mere Co-owners and then I really could have Friends... but that is a HUGE daydream....

So in the meantime I'd settle for getting the ability to co-own all my characters to all my homes back like it was in KR.
