Heya,
I want to play an idea ball around a bit.
How would you build an in-game player justice system in a mmorpg. Siege is the only shard with real danger still, so this is most likely the best place to be asking such a question.
Ultima Online had the bounty system, but it was too easily griefed. After having enough bounty for a red, just let your friend to kill you and collect the money.
The Justice virtue actually works more or less. Thou usually it is just someone inside the guild protecting the others, since usually if a guild is strong enough that it would protect the group, the guild would just do the champ faster themselves.
Building actually working player justice system which is not easily griefed seems complicated, and I was wondering if anyone has ideas of examples from other games of a working system.
