Placing chests in the castle entrance

Hey all,

In a Castle's entrance there are "windows" to the west and east halls. I have seen castles with chests taking up these window spots. How the heck do I get chests in there?

Ok well I hate castles and I've never done it but if you drop a goza on the low wall, and use transparency then raise it. you should be able to put what ever you want on it, and chop the goza. Have Fun =)

you do it from "behind" the wall (the west side of the wall). turn on circle of transparency, target the floor just behind the window, drop it into the hole and lock it down. you'll then need to lower it to get flush with the bottom of the window. rinse and repeat to stack chests.

I think those openings differ in size from keep to castle. A while ago Sarsmi (think it was her :) ) made a post about the gargish chests fitting snugly into the castle openings..... shots below are with circle of transparency off and then on. I won't tell ya it's a snap, took me a few curses to get them to sit right, but they really look nice when it's done

Those gargish chests line up really nicely, and are shorter than regular wooden chests so you can put more in a stack. The downside is you can only dye them facing one direction, have to turn them with the tool if you have them facing south normally and need to redye them.

Speaking of dyeing furniture..... once upon a time didn't they give us a default on the furniture tubs?

I thought originally there was no default so we had to keep an unused tub around to dye things back to their original colors but...and maybe I'm just losing my memory here... didn't they change it so the tub itself had a default?

Used a tub yesterday and found I had no way to turn barrels back to the wood color.

Yah, there's a context menu default for the furny tub. I think wilki was responsible for getting that ingame. I remember I whined enough about it at the time, hehe.

I feel very dumb. I never thought to just click the tub itself, kept trying to find that default from the menu the comes up with the dyes.

Thank you very much.
