I need to know a few things i didnt find in faq and otherwise.

What is the no fizzle number of skill needed for them?
Besides ones an imp and ones a pixie, what are the pros and cons/differing damages etc?

The no fizzle # is 78. As for differences summon fiend will give karma loss when casting. I'm not sure if there is a difference in damage output.

In addition to that, imps have demon pack instinct, fey have no pack instinct.

Most people prefer fey because they are rumored to cast spells more often. I haven't used enough of either to confirm or deny that.

People like fey also for the dying curse they lay. One being a paralyze that cant be resisted.

Not to mention also that with higher level focus, you can summon more feys per cast (not confirmed). Also, fey casting time is almost instantaneous compared with fiend, and casting times are a lot slower I believe.

pixies seem to cast more damage spells. imps seem to do more debuffs and have weaker spell damage than the pixies. imps hit alot harder(pack instinct) when in melee range.

@ Garaba - i've not noticed the death curse from the spellweave summoned pixies. will try to test/confirm

@ Sang - no arcane focus = 1 fey per cast; level 1 focus = 2 fey; level 4+ = 5 fey. casting cost varies depending on the number of fey summoned, so with a level 4 focus you'll be using 50 mana(or less with lower mana cost items.) i've not noticed a difference in casting times. will try to test/confirm

I have never seen my pixies death curse. I use them quite often and they will die and no paralyze effect procs at that point.

They do cast untill out of mana, but thier spell selection can be amusing. They will cast heal and cure on themselves. This makes them live longer than expected at times. Once out of mana you will see an occaisonal magic arrow or fireball as mana regens.

Fey will hual butt when agro'd or sent to attack. No lolly gagging about for them!

To confirm, yes the number of fey summoned does increase at +1 per focus level.

Casting time is trivialy fast.

They do not make you tea.
