Pirating Community?

Interested in creating a roleplaying pirating community.
If your character has a pirating background or history, we'd like to see something written up!
We're hoping to create a community where backgrounds and histories of characters intersect and create some pirating lore. If this picks up interest, I would like to create some pirating events like boat races and crew wars. Let your creative juices flow!

Unfortunately it looks like RUM has pretty much disbanded.. no one else has been online since 2007..

I beg to differ, I currently have a guild called The Dragonsail Pirates with a character of mine.. Edmund Longshore, who is a pirate... His background is that he was once a Royal Guard at castle British and was removed of his command and exiled from the Britain, he later became a drunk, which let to becoming a pirate.. I have no really worked on the character, but if people are interested in roleplaying as a pirate, then I will try to get it active..

oh, I didn't mean no other pirates have been online since 2007 - I just meant I am the only RUM member who has logged in since then.

I miss the days of the unnatended macroer hunts.

all pirates are red. any pirate thats not red is just some landlubber dressed up like a fancy boy.

like pvp everytime I tried got my butt whipped

I wish Salt Foambreaker would return to the game so RUM could be active again. I had so much fun with them.
