the pirate captain takes more damage from pets than my spells
if you are meaning the ones for void pool id slap on a repond slayer and go to town

No - Pirates are not classified as Repond and have no other slayer.

Orcs on ships (if you consider them pirates) would be repond or Orc.

Tested a Mage Slayer Talisman against the Sea Witches. They're not vulnerable to it. Was wondering if they were, since Crazed Mages and Burning Mages are vulnerable to Mage Slayer, even though they have the human NPC graphic.
