Pirate Quest Broken ( Fix Plz )

Last night we went out to do some pirate hunting in trammel.

We could not do damage to pirate ships, nor did they do damage to us.

Is this just trammel or both facets?

(This was at Legends)

Hope you can fix this soon.

Also, the Pirate Quest that you get with a specific Pirate name and coordinates isn't working. You get to the coordinates given and there is no pirate, no other boats in the vicinity. I sailed directly to the coordinates, just wondering if there is a time limit or if that Pirate ship never really existed.

We've been complaining about pirate ships not working right since the game went live. Noone, as in Devs or Cal have given any kind of responses at all yet. There are a few threads written about pirate hunting and the ships not taking damage, it is also listed in bugs at top of UHall.

As far as the quests go... the quest is not for a specific pirate. There is a bullitan board by Bigsby, and it could be any of those pirates listed, and the list may change from time to time. So basically capturing or killing any pirate will work. They will hark some clues as to where to find a pirate, but it does not matter if that is the one you capture or kill. They will often move by the time you get there or the names may have changed, or someone else may have taken it out.

At one time, I thought maybe the reason we could not damage a pirate was because we did not get one that was on the board, so I went back to board, wrote down a list of them, by time I got back to where the pirates were located, all the pirate names had changed again.

Besides the Pirate Name thingy, the quest gave a specific location to locate the ship. We went to the exact spot and there wasn't any ship of any kind anywhere near that location. Start Tracking didn't indicate anything until we had sailed far-far away.

So now, I'm just going to ignore the messages... too bad, because I thought it was pretty cool to hunt for a specific Pirate.

If you check your quest log, for the "Professional Bountyhunter Quest", it will say "This quest is to capture or kill any one of the wanted pirates on the bulletin board in the tavern." Etc. The quest giver himself will announce any one of the the different pirate names and its current location. It could be a whole different story though by time you reach that location, it could have sailed off, it could have chased someone, it could have been killed or captured. Also the tracking does not always work. Lately the start tracking will track any other ship it finds, but NOT the pirate ships.
