Pets and Bard changes?

So far I see no answer for this, but does the party helping songs affect your pet as well? Not that they'd be *that* useful, but still.

mmmm... from the wording... No. As far as I can tell, the spells only affect party members within range. Pet's can't be in a party.

Well, afaik, they inheret the flagging of the master compared to party. All other MMOs consider pets to be part of the party.

So its a quite valid question. Especially considering this screws tamers, as the changes only affects weapons and spells, and pets are the tamers weapon.

Didn't say it wasn't a valid question, just stating what the patch notes imply.

Also, this isn't every other MMO so, pets may or may not be considered part of the party. I don't know, all i know is, in the description of the abilities, it says "players" not "Players and pets." This could just be an oversight in the wording of the patch notes, which is common.

Ok, that just made the masteries quite a bit more useful for Bard/Tamers.

Follow-up question would be, does it affect your party members pets.

And do they stack when from different bards? So if you were 2 tamer/bards, one used peace mastery and the other used provocation mastery, would both pets get both benefits?

I used a dog (only one) fresh tamed and he killed a great hart with resilence + invigorate
but I have to say that the aura stacks only if different...

lol, imagine 3 bard/tamers, using Inspire, preservance, tribulation and discording a boss mob, then throwing their 3 pet sets at it.

A slaughter, hehehe.

yes... if they have enough mana to keep the bard spells long enough
because tribulation costs 16 mana per seconds and the other 8-10

Auch, thats nasty. Kinda sad its that high, many bards won't be able to keep it up for more than a couple of second then without extreme suits and focus/meditation (which messes up true bard templates)

So again, this favors hybrid FOTM templates :/

as I said in the other post, is really hard for a pure bard keep active the new spells without a boost in mana regeneration.
yes, necro bard tamers in lich form will work, but how do you manage all this skills?
lich form require 70 in skills 110 taming and lore for the Gdragon, 120 music + 120 other skill (lower is the skill and lower is the effect) an then meditation 120 (only lich form is not enough). With it now we are at 530, magery is needed for healing and are other 110 and you have 60 more points for... focus?
could work if you want to go around without vet

I have a disco/necro/mage(780 skills) who usually runs with wraith form, I imagine I can keep the discord abilities alive for a long time as long as I have something to leech from

you'll see? there is always a way to fit new things
however, wrait form with disco spells could be very nice 60 damage every second and you just need to avoid damages

Despair doesn't end when you're damaged, but casting any spell other than Chivalry ones does end it. So it seems a Discord Pally would work.
