Pet Attacking Problem

Afternoon guys and gals,

A problem has been happening for me recently, and it's starting to grind on my nerves something rotten!

I haven't figured out the source of the problem yet but it's like this:

At some point, my pet (happened with several different ones) will decide that when I tell it to kill, or when it auto-defends, it will not move from it's spot. It will stand in one place, and wait for spawn to get to it before it attacks (unless of course it's a pet with magic where it'll stand, cast from one spot, then melee when it's next to it).

The only way I've found of fixing this problem is... well it's to die basically.

And me, not the pet. Which obviously, can get tedious.

So...

Anyone else getting this problem?

Anyone else worked out why this is happening?

Anyone else know a better way to right it than death?

Cheers all,

-- Danny

- Edit - Logging out and back in seems to cure it, other questions remain :)

It's a well known, and documented, problem. The less drastic way to fix it is to feed the pet. :lick:

Mounting and dismounting also works if you don't have food. There are a few others things that work, but I use the feeding and mount/dismount.
