I don't know about that..... I used a PBD long time ago on a dress of mine... then I changed my name.... now YEARS later I can no longer remove my bless deed from my dress... yet my other character can take hers off things and put it on other things anytime she wants... but my one character who did change her name years ago can not.

Then page a GM to do it - your character's ID number DIDN'T change when you renamed it, so the ID number on the PBD will still match. Once removed, the deed will either immediately switch to the new character name, or switch when it is next applied.
eve click on the item that's blessed, and if the item belongs to your char you'll get a little box asking you if you want to unbless the item. if you say yes, the PBD will appear in your backpack and your item will no longer be blessed. then you can bless something else with your deed
if item does not belong to your char and is blessed with someone else's PBD you cannot remove it. i believe a GM can.
