Have noticed that the drop rates across the board have been severely curtailed. Sneak nerf or just code borked again?

I think things are fine. By the looks of vendors there are a lot of drops around. Almost to the point I can buy them.
I'm not sure its a nerf I've killed almost 1000 renowns since SA started. I've had about 20 drops total. I normally get really good loot, and I have 700-1100 luck on the chars that do this.
They've just never dropped much stuff for me.

For that type of reward you better be able to solo these unless you don't mind sharing his 3 ironwood bows every 42 times.
The drops were excellent for about a week after the patch that supposedly increased the drop rate..then it tanked in a single day. From then on..complete waste of time.

Lol... bc Code Mutates didn't you know?? Its FAR more likely that with UO's Random # generator being as streaky as it is you've just been the victim of that... I've done at least 30 Slashers in the last week & have probably 12 Drops or so... Granted NONE of the good ones, but Drops all the same....
They need to keep the same chance to drop the crap arties... such as axe of abandon, blade of battle, demon brindle ring, etc.
But for the nice ones like Tangle, Laverlie, Slither, etc make it both a point system as well as random chance like doom.

lol I don't know, my guild/ally did two Stygian Tuesday, got three Fey Mystic Books, did one Medusa last night, got the Fey Bow. I think you guys just don't have luck, or maybe, if Mythic is smart, you have less chance of getting rewards when you solo. either way, drop works fine!42 Medusa's soloed in the past week and and a half:

Party I was in got 3 fey bows in 2 medusas one night, not bad. Personally I would like to even see lower drop rates. Make everything like getting a crimmy which in my experience is 2 in estimated 500 peerless, though I think I'm behind the curve there. I may need to imbue some luck into my undies irl.
Okay, so judging by most of your comments it seems I'm getting penalized for working it solo.
Guess multi-clienting/partying is the answer (if someone doesn't feel like working with a group, and crossing their fingers for a sweet dice roll).

Most other MMORPG has a "party/group bonus" when a group is working together including WoW some get bonus experience points some gets special skill points and money depending on games.
Your chance of getting an arty is the same soloing or in a group say medusa has 30% chance to drop an arty, so when you are soloing you get 30% chance for an drop. But in a small group (I usually use 2 to 3 people) each gets a chance to roll so in a way you have 3, 30% chances to get an arty.
You are not penalized, you just dont have to share your drop with others and theres no others to share their drop with you.
K, I'll give it a whirl since that dual client thang is legal now.
