I've never really found a use for peace. Invis & or para work for me in all situations. There are some things you need to get used to, for example you'll come to recognize things that reveal big time (GD, Ophidian Justicars & dread spiders come to mind) so you might have to cue up invis 2, 3, 4 times in a row. But for the points required for peace, the uses are just too limited for my tastes (as opposed to magery, which I already have and can use for lots of other things).
My bard is what most would call bard/mage, with music, provo, disco, magery, eval & med all at 120. Great for almost any situation (except for the fact that bards aren't properly credited for damage for looting rights but that's another issue). When the spawn levels in champ spawn areas and people are running for safe zones, I just invis, wait for the lag to pass and start provoking. If you get in rhythm and have a feel for your cool-down timers, you can clear out any of these areas high-spawn high-danger areas on your own while others are timidly picking off creatures at the edges. Definitely helps to have FC/FCR gear on to get your invis spells off super fast, and LMC & Mana Regen can help you keep the process up without running out of mana. With heavy spawn, I go right for the provokes. Then in champ & peerless situations, I can use discord, and do plenty of damage and cast a constant stream of spells with Eval & Med (and good armor suit).
On my tamer I just go with music and discord. Back in the day, before pet bonding when tamers actually had to go out and tame a pet or two each week, I could see the use for peace to make things easier. But these days, the animal taming profession has little to do with actually taming animals (except during training), so peace has little use in this template. My disco tamer template is Taming, Lore, Vet, Music, Disco, Magery. If found that with the right armor suit (max LMC & Mana Regen), Med is not necessary to keep healing non-stop so I decided to push up all the skills I'm keeping to 120. If you prefer, magery at 95 works (100% invis) and you can hold a tome of lost knowledge or something to get up to 110, and throw additional skills onto jewels and clothing to include med (while dropping taming, lore & vet some) in the template. I found this isn't necessary.
Disco tamer is also a great template for spawns as you can get into a pattern of Discord then "all kill". Works great on high level spawn MOBs as well, dragons, rotting corpses, etc. go down in just about the right amount of time for disco cool-down so you're ready to disco the next beast as soon as one goes down. Against certain champs like Neira & Baracoon, after a Disco a GD can easily handle the boss by items (with healing of course).
So, those are the two templates I play that include bard skills and peace is not a consideration in either one. Just too many points for a panic button skill, which magery can substitute for in 99% of situations (especially if you have fast casting and/or use protection spell), and provoke or discord are more useful in actually helping kill stuff rather than just delaying the killing.
