PC & Info Needed - Worn Katana

I found a "Worn Katana" at an IDOC on Atlantic the other night, but have never heard of it, nor could I find any information about it on this forum. Does anybody have any information about this item? It might be a common piece from the past, but I've never seen one. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Not sure I understand the question but you can only get it in KR if that's what you mean. There's a few new character items you can only get when starting a new character in KR.

I dont know how true that is flutter, i remember picking some up in old haven when they first blew it up. you had to take a boat to the docks, and on the floor was an endless stack of them. this may have changed, and i havent tried since

I went and tried, and found them in 2d, and was able to pick them up. Although they are one a table now, where as when i first saw them they were on the floor. you can take them over and over agian (they spawn every ten seconds or so)

this is where they can be found.

YES THATS THE PLACE THEY ARE FOUND... AND YES ITS DEFINATE ONE OF THE ITEMS WHEN U START ANY ..AND I MEAN ANY... NEW PLAYER CHAR IN KR MODE.

No you can the katana in 2d, you can not do the quest though. he says "I can not give you this quest agian"

What I am speaking about would actually be considered quest items I think.
There's all the rewards from the Dark Knight quest rewards plus the Dark Knight rune itself. There's also a "token of passage" which looks like pumace or an old moonstone. Then there's the worn katana.

That area is supposed to be blocked off all around. (even the docks)
There's supposed to be no legal way to get in there. If you were able to more power to ya I guess.

Seriously, that area is supposed to be blocked off by rocks. It's supposed to be non accessible by players so that no one interferes with the new player experience.

I just tried in on europa. Couldn't get through the rocks. Bought a smaller boat, still couldn't get through (got so wedged in at one point, suspected I'd have to abandon ship!). took the boat to old haven and tried to launch right next to dock, but got error messages that something blocked the location.

I thought posting exploits, and things that the game did not intend for players to do was illegal on stratics? I guess my inlaws that did the quest, and got theirs the legal way are just idiots........

The game did NOT intend for players to place a boat, that is entrapped in a circle of rocks, to get a quest item. THAT IS WHY THE ROCKS ARE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

What if i just go over and place 3 boats to block the whole area off. Is that OK?

This isnt an exploit, i can legally place a boat there. if they change the coding in the area to not allow boat placement, and i somehow place a boat, THAT would be an exploit.

I dont see what the big deal is. Its a kat with 60% Lower Requirements on it. And beyond that, its an endless stack of them. If i sit there for a min, i can have six. If i sit there for an hour, i can have sixty. whoopty friggin doo.

I cant get to the dark knight, i cant do any of the quests. No harm done, Why gripe over it? Christ.

Just to clarify there are no rocks there....the shoreline where the boat is placed is clear.

I made a char some months back in 2d with bushido as one of the starting skills and I got a worn katana, so unless it was a glitch for me, its not limited to kr
