So i've been hearing rumours all day about payouts being wonky, which it didnt happen to me so I shrugged it off.. Well, the past 30 minutes, i've been jamming.. making $4 per jam, 20.99 cooking, in a house with 5 other jammers..

Please tell me this wasn't on purpose. lol

While I don't think the payout ought to be that low, it takes 12 sims doing the same money object to get top payout, so with 5 (including yourself) doing it I'd figure the payout would be a little under half what it would be if the payouts were not lowered at all. Jams and pizza are always the most popular, so with the dynamic payouts they are the ones that take the hit when payouts have to be lowered...I'm hoping after amnesty that money lots will diversify more and we'll start seeing groups of sims making gnomes, bashing pinatas or making telemarketing calls intermingled with all these jams. At this rate I'm glad sims cannot be overweight cuz we'd all be 400 pixelated pounds and whatever the avatar version of diabetic is. LOL.

Dynamic payouts are not in the game yet. The developers manually adjust the payouts.

If dynamic payouts were here, pinatas would be high paying. Nobody is doing them.

Automated dynamic payouts are not here, everything is done by hand, however the part of dynamic payouts that makes payouts on objects that a large number of people are doing go down, has already been implemented manually...this has been said here and in the Town Hall as well. The only part of that feature that they have not been able to put in yet is the part that makes it automated so that Sarah doesn't have to keep such an eye on it and adjust it by hand when it needs it. I've never seen 12 people doing pinatas so I don't know what they'd pay out now, but I *have* been playing code which is something that hardly anybody does and I know first hand that the payout for that is infinitely better than pizza....because of the fact that the code machines are not being overused.

PAYOUTS not the price of items.

We see how well that works!

Try again.

Dynamic payouts and dynamic pricing are all cut from the same cloth......peas and carrots if you will. The payouts on objects are tweaked manually by Sarah just as the price of objects is by Lee or whoever does it. I know Sarah does the payouts because she's said so numerous times in her postings here and in game.

Just tested for myself omg LOL, i just earned 4$ in chalkboards with 17,54 logic skill, with 9 ppl in there, and in the factory job when i was supposed to earn 305$ (and it do say in the pop-up 305$) i just earned 15$ lol.

I bet the developers have not looked at code, band or maze. Two of the three are useless and so few do code, why bother.

The point is:

Stop spreading rumors that are not true.

The payouts are not dynamic yet. Look at jams when the city opens, then at mid-day, then at night. The payout is the same.

Pizza pays the same as yesterday, now, tomorrow.

The developers are manually adjusting payouts right now.

Pricing is dynamic, we saw it when the cities merged. And we saw they can manually change them. (Pet supplies) Peas and carrots are in separate containers right now.

The job payout thing is a bug and should be reported as such. I worked the restaurant job today in TC3 right after the update that fixed the jobs in both cities, and got the payout that I am used to seeing in the pop up *and* my numbers went up correctly. I know this for sure because that sim began the [censored] with 650 simoleans exactly, 500 from the weekly bonus I got when I logged in and 150 of it she already had on her. I wrote down the numbers in the popups as I got them and when I was done with the shift my simolean count was exactly what it was supposed to be, total.

[email protected]

Is anybody in TC3 having the issue Nick described with jobs other than the restaurant track? I'll do some testing tomorrow, I've got a premium sim in the robot factor and a free sim that is a DJ. I'll report back here tomorrow after both sims do a shift and let you guys know whether there's a problem in TC3 at all or if the problem is either just related to a bug Nick has, or is isolated to EA Land if more people in EAL report the same thing tomorrow. Nobody else has and I know alot of people flocked to jobs when they were open, so surely if this was a widespread bug we'd be hearing more reports of it, so I'm guessing it was just an isolated glitch or somehow you are mistaken about the number of simoleans you started with and ended with.

I'll report back with what info I gather tomorrow. I'm going to be on for a bit tonight, but I am medicated so I damn sure am not working the robot factory LOL

some ppl are having others not, still i can't conclude what it is because after the next day it got to normal again, i need to test a little more, and wait for tomorrow to see. And about the factory job no, i have write it in a paper and they do pay that low.

Yep, all you people that are experiencing reduced payouts. It's because you are earning to much what evers and are being considered as botting.
Looks like if we can make more than 500 what evers a week on top of what we spend, we must be botting.
