Paperdoll and Backpack

Why is it in over a decade we still have to reopen our paperdoll and backpack every time we log, crash, DC? I am going to hold off any other complaints until I can see what the modders come up with, but surely this is a game function that is long overdue.

Mine stays open in 2D. If you don't successfully log out without the client crashing, it won't save your desktop and thus your Paperdoll being open.
