As Grymzor71 said, it's supposed to be a blackrock detector. The Britannian military has officially given their support to it, which might explain the delay!

But, in all seriousness, it will be used in the first event when the new story arc begins.

Hmmm. Interesting. I'm still trying to figure out what those teeny-weeny-itty-bitty "chips" of blackrock can be used for I keep finding.

Oh...and maybe someone can tell me, is it still possible to spawn a blackrock elemental?

Maybe the device Vallend speakes of will be able to detect them?

I dont know if its still possible to spawn it but walking around certain places in fel I have seen some. Imps, ogre lords and a few others.
