Irk killed me while I was collecting keys for the Dread Horn, usually in these situations after being killed by a high end monster I would get resources I need from my house and fight my way back until I get close enough to my corpse where then I honor myself and then go grab my stuff, but this can sometimes be time consuming.
However, this time instead, after being killed I quickly collected some residue at a champ spawn then used monster form to get me all the way through the Twisted Weald to my corpse with no problem. (then somehow Irk ended at the otherside of the walls where the enterence to the Twisted Weald is, I was like what the hell?, So I had to go all the way back to the champ spawn area of the Twisted Weald to kill Irk).
Anyway, I guess my point is, if you keep your thinking caps on, you might come across opportunities or think of ideas where you can find monster form useful.
Before this event ends, I also plan to use monster form to mark runes smack in the middle of extreamly high spawn/dangerous places. I like to lock these kinds of runes down in my house, lol to anyone who is curious enough to recall off them.
