If you're ever planning on upgrading a piece of software on 140 workstations, make sure there's a better way of doing it than using remote desktop to connect to each one individually.

Also, if any old machines are set to static IPs, don't take down the old DNS server.

Altiris wouldn't do the trick with a Rapid Install Package?

Or what about using Altiris to remote control all the machines from a single master?

Both have helps me out greatly in management of all my labs.

I'm assuming this is an Active Directory domain.

Why didn't you just deploy the installer via GPO?
