We haven't gotten as much snow as yall on the other side of the Miss. River.

Ours mostly fell in the form of ice or rain most of the time.

Soooooo when we got our 10 inches of snow here last week, in the top o Mississippi,
I was outside playin in it all.

It was the good kinda snow too. I made snow peeps, a snow hare, and a snow sheltie in my yard. Then I played catch the snowballs with the shelties...course they caught em and ate em ! :)

BUT my daffodils always bloom on valentines day down here... *still waiting* this yr.

I await feelin 50 degrees and seeing some steady dry sunshine, instead of my back yard being MUSH !

Same here, it felt great to even feel 50s and 60s again, briefly over the weekend here..........right before all hell broke loose last night as the tstorms raged across the Miss. River from Ark, and came here late yesterday afternoon, dumping 2 inches of more unwanted rain & lightening bolts, in my yard. :(

Now they saying 40 degrees and less 20s for the nights, for the rest of this week !

I HATE JAN. and FEB, most dull BORING months of the year !

Not as much snow as usual in the wilds of northern Michigan. Still white out,but all in all its been pretty quiet this year. Never even hadta shovel my driveway or mailbox out. Yes,ya have to have a lil speed to get over that bump at the end of the driveway...but what fun is life w/o a lil challenge....ya,ya thats why I never shoveled! :)

I like snow...when it goes away I hafta go back to work..:sad3:

4-5 more weeks of bliss, than its back to watching the odometer tick by.

We got 1.5 inches of snow (the wet, melting, slushy kind) last thursday, and everybody panic'd. The roads gridlocked. It took me 3 hours to get home, and I live 5 miles away. I should have walked.

Crazy Brits.

It just doesn't get any better. I'll be bragging exagerated stories about this winter for the rest of my days!!! My grandchildren will be sick of hearing the story about 2010, the winter we got 168 inches of snow in 22 minutes!

Such is Life...

I'm in Pittsburgh.

So long as the weather holds out until Thursday afternoon when my washer and dryer get here, it can do whatever it wants Friday.

Well here in northern NH we have had a very boring winter (so far) not much snow and Feb. has been rather warm for here. From what they say we are in for a big one in a day or two. But please God, not ice!

It is the start of Round 4 for me here in Jersey. The meteorologists are calling it a SNOWACANE because we are suppose to have high winds along with all the snow. FUN!!!

I do love snow and haven't minded all of the storms this year (being a teacher and not having to drive in the snow is part of the reason), but even now I feel like enough is enough! Especially, because I won't be around this weekend to go sledding or skiing!!

SE Ohio has had its share of snow this year too! Several inches on the ground all of February and doesn't look like it will be leaving anytime soon. At least we haven't had rain too, 'cause floods stop you faster than ice.

I have figured out the pattern. It only snows heavily on my days off. Cold front blowing tonight...

Snow isn't so bad, but I'm just tired of cold weather. It seems like temperatures are always below normal in Illinois!
