OT: Things NOT to buy cheap...

With gas prices the way they are and many other things going up in price sometimes we cut corners while shopping and look at the cheaper things that will do the same job as the name brand. For example, some people will buy sams choice cola versus the namebrand colas like pepsi and coke. I recently borrowed a can of insect spray from my neighbor that was a name brand i had never heard of, I personally buy the dcon and raid products. A family of wasps had recently decided to move in to the overhang on my front porch and i was going to take them down with my neighbors spray. I aimed the canister at the nest and upon spraying they all dropped to the ground and started doing what i thought was their death rolls.....a few seconds later they were in the air, and they werent too happy.

Moral of the story: with some things, you should just pay the extra buck and quite possibly save yourself, or your neighbor, alot of head ache.

Cotton swabs or Q Tips.

The cheap ones are made of cheap plastic that bend when you use them. Q Tip is strong, so when you clean your ears they hold under the pressure.

Don't buy anything from Walmart/Samclubs because everytime you do you're supporting a bunch of slaver traders who keep thousands of chinese factory workers in a form of slavery.

omg my diet pepsi just came out my nose, holy crap, too funny, I'm just really upset that I am now limited to only buying 80lbs of rice at Sams, I just don't know what I am going to do, whats next only 50 lbs of beans. How will I feed the family on that! Seriously tho other than restaurants who the hell would buy 80lbs of rice at a time?

A lot of small mom and pop restaurants buy some of their food from the warehouse stores. Price Club/ costco has a business card where you can go get your stuff before the store open to the general public.

Stuff form HOMEDUMP and Lowe they have manufactures make them stuff cheaper so they can make more money and still sell them for less. The same model and size Anderson window bought at HOME DUMP was 20 lbs lighter than other windows purchased form a local lumber company. Big Box stores make companies manufacture stuff to lesser standards. Homedump toro mower 14 gage steel vs 10 gage steel for a mower from a toro dealer. 14 gage steel weighs 3lbs per sq ft 10 gage steel weighs 5.4lbs per sq ft.

WHAT? you make no sense and this is a somewhat light hearted voicing of opinions on the current state of the economy and local retailers along with few comical pokes at people. Please don't bring your drama to this thread, thanks.
