saturday night has been so hard on ranked teams
yeah, it was an awesome game... the first half was all Texas Tech... but in the second half Texas came back and made a game out of it... Texas went ahead with 1:29 left in the game, but they left too much time on the clock and Texas Tech scored with only one second left. Was truely an awesome game to watch...
Alabama will probably move into number one... but I think Texas Tech should automatically jump into the number one spot.

. I do think Tech should jump Penn State and be #2 though.

an excellent idea. If not that then adding a plus one game, and the Pac 10 and Big 10 adding champ games would also go a long way to clearing stuff up.Playoffs, playoffs, playoffs!!!!!
Go ahead and give Tech the number one spot if youd like. Its not going to last long. I wouldnt be surprised if they lost next week to Oklahoma State, but I will guarantee they will not beat Oklahoma in three weeks. Putting 10 mil siege gold up against anyone who thinks otherwise.
As far as Bama goes, they have had one of the easiest SEC schedules in the conference so far this year. They've played one tough team this year (Georgia), and just look at how easily the Gators handled Georgia. It was rediculous. They have their next real test next weekend against LSU, we'll see how they handle it. I think Florida is the best team in the conference, and they'll prove it in the SEC championship game.
Now comes the son-of-a-pancake of it all. Penn State is going to win out the rest of their season. All they have to do is not choke against Michigan State at home in the last game of the season and they will have an undefeated season. So the voters will be forced to put them at the number one or number two spot at years end, thus giving us another pathetic Big Ten team who can't hold the jock strap of these legitmate conference teams and will just make another mockery of the system currently in place.

Bama is going to be tested three more times this season LSU, Auburn( you can throw records out the window here), and Fla if they do not stumble vs both LSU and Auburn. I do think that a one loss bama or Fla winner of the sec champ is more deserving than than penn state. If Bama wins out, and looses to Fla in the sec champ I wish Fla all the best for getting to the NC.
I also happen to think Fla is the best team in the Sec and the nation right now.

I also agree with your statement about tech; Ok state or Oklahoma will hand them a loss. I aalso completly agree with your staement about another big ten team going to the NC. How many times do they have to get drubbed by a one or two loss SEC team for the media to get the message. The last entertaining NC game was Texas vs. SC (who has no business being considered for the NC this year given the weakness of the pac 10 and thier loss to a sub par team).
