I once had a cat who is never interested in going out get out through the basement door and go missing for 14 days. I had already given up on him, but decided to leave the bulkhead to the crawlspace open in case he came home. I went out one morning with the dogs two weeks after he went missing and he was yowling away in the crawlspace and came running out to meet me. . . .

Stupid cats. . .

Heh...that is why I made my bathroom into a kitten playpen, Kelmo. It was a pain in the neck for me, in terms of inconvenience, but in the long run made things much better for peace of mind. Four is a lot to keep track of especially when they have no mama kitty. Confinement to one room meant all kitties accounted for at all times, and they had food, water, potty box, bed, and toys always within easy reach of them (I had a little footstool set up inside the tub, and an inexpensive small carpeted ramp on the outside that was also for scratching...they could get in and out of the tub at will, and had a grand time playing in it with their little foam balls) and I had everything that I thought could possibly be a kitten danger (or victim) stashed under the sink cabinet, and made sure the toilet lid was always down. No place for them to get in/out and get stuck/hurt while I was at work, and mess/destruction was well contained on a tile area too, which was a bonus. I set up a small carrier with bedding inside it so they would have a private place to go when they wanted to nap, and not have a sibling who wanted to play at the time, batting toys in their face. The fuzzy flood of greeting when I got home and opened the door was always fun. Purr, purr, purr, all wanted to be held at once, and when they were little dumplings, I could do that.

I posted these before...but never hurts to look at kittens again. :D

And yes, my tub is ugly with the stripped porcelain finish, but I keep it clean. :p

My kitties are sad... Spayed and rabies shots today. My wallet is sad also. I will take some pics when they get up and about.

The poor things :)

Is 3/4 top left?

I have a 3/4 as well, her name is Black Rosy, she is missing a rear leg though. But doing fine, she is quite happy here, living with the other 3 cats.

Kind regards

Yup. That is her. Top left. Ninja cat is next to her. Boss cat is at the bottom of the pic.
