IF you lost someone you had hoped would be there, to see you graduate, my sympathies.

Knowing he wanted to be there to see you graduate may create even more motivation for you, to continue to work towards the goal/s of getting your diploma. When you hold that diploma, whenever you do get it, you will remember, that he wanted to be there.

A diploma is nothing more than a leap of faith in oneself to achieve it. Faith that a piece of paper and all your studies, in the end, will make a difference for our life, employment, career, job, income etc. Even if we fail, other doors may open for us, providing new goals to achieve, new opportunites, that we never would have found, had we not tried at all.
