AP is just in a league of his own almost when it comes to the old school tough running.

I like Brett and hopes he has a good showing.

I'm mostly pulling for Aaron Rodgers, I'd like the pac-10 QBs to represent.

aaron rogers has def steped up and made a name replacing Brett, AP is the hardest runner in the NFL cept for marion barber IMO but i dont think green bays def can handle the running game of the vikings hands down

+1

Give the ball to AP, let him do his thing. Ask Brett to make a couple of good throws. That should put plenty of points on the board.

Only thing GB can do to counter it is if Aaron Rodgers has a phenomenal game and matches Minn score for score - I think he's good but not to the point where I would rely on him being able to deliver a phenominal game.

well green bay has a very good LB corps, if they can control the line of scrimmage then the defense might be able to give aaron rogers some nice chances to get some points....but the fat guys up front better get ready for AP cuz we know what he can do

Brett should have quit while he was ahead. They would have built him a castle in Green Bay. Now all he's going to be known for is the 'that guy who couldn't quit.'

I should REFRAIN but I can not !!

I a SICK of the cult of personality worship period. Be it Bret or others in other fields be they tv personalities or rock stars or politicians .........ya end up with commentators that are just butt suckers uppers ! It sickens me as does the rest of the assorted *cult of human personality worship* going on lately across the nation.

The Vikings *had* newer quarterbacks they got to be shelved for Bret !

That is why the Pack let him go, let a newer men try their hand at quarterbacking, without on off again in out indecisivness of ONE man.

And many of last night's commentators, about ignored most of the 'other' decent good Viking players out there on the field, and about ignored all the Packers too, for more commentators' swoonings over #4 as if he is god !

Sorry ............ I am sick of it all ! There is no I in the word TEAM !

*other than that, I think the younger qb did as best as he could, under the circumstances and the pressure, now the other Packers need to do more out there to WIN !

And, had the OTHER Vikings, not done their job, Bret woulda been throwing, to no one !

Yet those Vikings barely get mentioned as much as #4 either, last night, by the commentators, yet THEY too were crucial, to bring on the Vikings victory last night.

AND DON"T TELL ME my post is too long...stating the obvious is ...redundant !! *tell me how ya really feel QZ*

*exits rant*
hmmm go cowboys?

Favre has a life time QB rating of 88, hardly a legend.

Just hanging around forever does not make you the best!

He has been a better then average QB but would not even make the top 10 all time.

I can't wait until he floats a few interceptions come playoff time. The Vikes will make a quick exit from the payoffs this year (IMHO).

Dan Marino is only 12th All-Time. And he never won a Super Bowl.

And Chad Pennington is rated 6th All-Time so he's better than Dan Marino by YOUR logic.

Winning, Super Bowl's, records, and attitude makes you a Hall of Famer. Brett Favre is a Hall of Famer and yes, a legend.
Not even close, he is an above average player that is hanging on in a over expanded, watered down league!

Jim Brown is a Legend, Brett is a guy who needs the spot light and will not be able to walk when he turns 50.
