I was going to reply to a post with a pic,so I went to photobucket to upload and the second I logged into photobucket my Mcafee blocked Exploit-PDF.g.gen!stream (trojan).

Maybe its a false positive but who knows. I`ve never had this happen on photobucket before so.....

On a related note. I was checking out my anti viruses logs and discovered that my port I had to open in order to use a server for Kiwi`s new UO Map has been getting an ICMP ping alot....alot. (NOT implying in anyway that this has anything to do with Kiwi`s fine work)These are all incomming. Also have the Senna Spy Trojan / IRISA trying to "unsolicited connection to UDP 11000" but is blocked by firewalls.

This anything to be concerned about? Or is it just the norm. I mean I have several other things trying to ping me and a couple others trying the "unsolicited connection to UDP port ******* " Hopefully this is nothing, just got a little excited after seeing so much action trying to get in.

At this point I`m thinkin bout closing that port and not running a server anymore. Still kinda new to routers and such so who knows maybe this is all just the norm? If it matters,my routers not wireless. Definately brings to light the need for anti virus measures when ya see those logs, lol. At first I was like Whoa! WTF is all THAT!

All I am going to say is don't sell the Mcafee short. I had to reformat my computer this weekend after I went to upload an image to my photobucket account a week ago & caught a virus. It dl'd the Internet AV 2010 onto mine in a split second. Thought I had cleaned it, went to do a search & wham, not where I wanted to be... The search engine had been hijacked, each time i searched I watched & I was redirected, Immed shut down my net & logged onto another computer, pulled a few virus cleaners off with a clean computer & proceeded to clean mine. Pulled an additional 4 more off with 3 different virus cleaners. Thought I was clean, went to my search engine to check & the 1st search was ok, did a 2nd & whalla hijacked again. Said F this and reformatted it all. Now I have not been back to my photobucket acct & am not planning to on any good computer. I have a couple of trash ones & will just to see in a couple of weeks. My assumption is photobucket has a banner or whatever infected & DL's it each time it's up. I run virus prog's and this is the 1st time I have been infected by just going to a site & auto DL'ng hits before you can say wtf.

So there IS an issue with photobucket. The funny thing is that when this virus got (attempted) installed, that lil bar that drops down under the header for IE asking you if you want to install this program/don`t install/ignore or whatever it says..... that things was there blinking asking if I was sure I wanted to instal. So somehow I got infected..well almost.. just by logging into my account,I never said yes (or no)to that blinking bar. Front page not logged in,no problem. The second after I hit enter for log in BOOM. I`ll run a full scan today, the quicky came up negative.

I definately won`t sell Macafee short. I love it, it has saved me countless times, just like it did this time. Oh well,if this does need a format, its great timing since my new machine should be here tonight w00t!

On that note,I think I`m going Firefox all the way. I use it occasionally but I need to step it up to default I guess. Frickin IE!!! *shakes fist*

Worse thing I was on Foxfire. The 1st time ever I have been hit on it too, most of time it's blocked by my AV or the FireFox itself. All I know is like you, I went to upload a pic, hit enter in my bookmarks to go there (photobucket), then hit the bar to upload my pic and all kinds of crap started to pop across my screen, none of it good. I could not of been on the site more then, gawd 15 sec's when all crap let loose. ***Be careful is all I can say***
