Anyone else watching this show? It's a riot!

For those who enjoy dark, sick humor (like the movie "Very Bad Things") tune in to AMC (American Movie Classics) Sundays at 10 PM EST.

It's about a chemistry teacher who finds out he has terminal lung cancer. After realizing he has no substantial nestegg to leave his family with, he decides start cooking crystal meth.

IMO, the best new show since "My Name is Earl".

I took a long look at RoC 1.Q and tried to figure why I should not say something
here!
Some day, I am sure UO Stratics will think about placing a Pro-drug use forum,
but until then I will still believe that this posted thread is violating rule Q of the
Rules of Conduct.
I say this without any measure of emotional rancor, I wish some people do think
twice about what OT postings are appropriate.
No, I do not like dark, sick humor. I do know it exists, but I read these posting
and it makes me want to ...

I saw the previews of this show a few months back and thought it looked really interesting. After watching three episodes I dont know if its going to be a regular for me. It seems interesting enough but just lacks enough story advancement per episode IMO. I thought the first episode was really strong but the last few havent been as impressive, aside from the bathtub incident.

Trust me, this morality play does nothing to glorify the world of drug manufacturing or distribution. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is awesome storytelling.

The topic was clearly marked OT, meaning: Off Topic. ie. not pertaining to Siege Perilous.

...and I was not at all condoning the use of meth amphetamines. However, I was condoning the viewing of the show. Anyone that watched it and saw that hookers teeth would never smoke meth lol.

This show is not for everybody. Especially people who are not comfortable laughing at things they "shouldn't" be laughing at. (Ex: A lung cancer patient passing out due to shortness of breath and then falling down a flight of stairs--trust me, it was funny... maybe a bit rude, but funny)
