Seriously not one single player from the #1 team in the nation takes a single award. BS awards. Bama's gonna take the only one that matters on the field anyhow; maybe Tebow will go rub some ice cream on McCoy's busted lip during half time for him and give some pointers on how to bawl in front of a national audience when Bama whups that ass!

I don't really get into football that much, but I did watch the last 1/2 of the NE vs TX game...Suh is a frickin animal.

Suh is a beast and will be by far the best pro out of every and anyone in any BCS game!
Bama cost me 5 mil and I doubt that Texas can beat them, unless the find a running game over the next few weeks!

Agreed on Suh; he beat out Cody but he's so much more versatile.
I really don't see McCoy winning out over Ingram on the Maxwell though.
Everytime hes went up against a team witha real d (Oklahoma and Nebraska), he struggled. Ingram, on the other hand, put up great numbers against sec defenses week in and week out and ran all over Florida's then #1 ranked d; If he had not split so many carries with Richardson his stats would be alot higher, but if he had not Bama may not have steamrolled almost everyone we played int he fourth quarter either.
Saban and Ingram both kinda looked like they were ready to play the game today after the maxwell award was annouced.

The good thing about bama, they're a team filled with a lot of great players, no real exceptional players except Ingram and I think their DT? Even then, I don't think Ingram is the best RB (I'd say Gerhart, then Spiller/Ingram from what I've seen) and no DT can hold a candle to Suh.
And as for Tiffin, sorry but Forbath had the better statistical season. Though, I think there was someone who even had a better statistical season than Forbath.
Only a bama fan would complain their team got hosed when they're playing for the national championship =)

Gerhart got 70 more carries than Ingram against lesser competition. Does he rack up those kinda yards vs. some of the SEC defenses ingram faced? I doubt it. Does Ingram have better production with the same number of carries? I'd bet the farm on it

30 yards vs Auburn hurt him. Had he done that early in the season, no one would even remember. I watched that game and laughed at his chances of winning a heisman. Truthfully speaking, he really didn't have HUGE games (yardage wise) against anyone that was any good.

Top 40 ranked rush defenses:
2. Alabama (but he can't rush against his own team)

18. Arizona State

And Alabama didn't even play Georgia so Ingram only faced one team in the top 40 of rush defenses. Gerhart played against 5.
Ingram rushed 249 times for 1542 yards, 15 TD, with a 6.2 ypc.
Gerhart rushed 311 times for 1736 yards, 26 TD, with a 5.6 ypc.
Take out the games against crappy competition (non-bcs schools) where you can pad your stats which would be San Jose State for Stanford and FIU, N. Texas and Tennessee Chattanooga for Bama, and it looks like this:
Ingram, 220 Att, 1293 yards, 11 TD, 5.9 ypc.
Gerhart, 287 Att, 1623 yards, 24 TD, 5.7 ypc.

I figured he was finished after the Auburn game as well but his performance in the SECCG coupled with Tebow's meltdown, and McCoy's horrid showing had me saying "why not".
