Ophidian Rations and Snake Skins

It was mentioned ages ago that Ophidian rations/snake skins would be used for something. In fact, this is something that has been repeated over the last few years, even after the handins at Brit Castle.

As ive been away for a while, I was wondering if anyone had heard anything!

I think they had intended to use the imbuing but then when imbuing came out we got Silver Snake skins to use instead of Ophids. Ooops.

Still no use. Just like the little blackrock fragments that I keep collecting. I really wished I had turned them in when they ruined Haven for gifts. That was a huge mistake.

Apparently, their purpose is to make you wonder what their purpose is.

Honestly, I think whatever purpose they may have originally had was scrapped, lost, folded, spindled, mutilated, run over by Tampa traffic, and generally lost in the shuffle like many other loose fiction ends.

rations ARE useful...you can eat em

snakeskins ARE useful...though only of the silver variety.

Well the ones other then the yellow ones make okay deco.
Only the yellows still drop off Ophids, well and the silvers but that's an entirely different skin.

One would think the terathans would offer a bounty on those.

They were used for the last spring cleaning event. I don't believe it was the intent when we were told to keep them but it's what it turned into. They weren't worth holding for any amount of time regardless. That's the reason I didn't keep any of my blue essences. I doubt the reward will be worth holding onto them.
