So... I'm one of the people sitting around waiting for an official announcement from Electronic Arts, Bioware Mythic, Mythic Entertainment, or even Biolay Fritoware at this point as to how people with multiple accounts that exceed the number nine are supposed to handle the situation. Yes, I know that this board suggests that creating a secondary account is what to do, but this board also suggests that there are people who have tried and failed, tried and been IP banned, and so forth. Frankly, I'm not jumping through any hoops until there is some sort of OFFICIAL announcement about the situation, and since there's been nothing noted other than "We're about ready to turn on house decay again," I'm guessing those of us in this unique position will continue to wait for official resolution. Frankly, as one friend pointed out, maybe this is the thing that will force a break from the pixels of Ultima Online, and perhaps that's not a bad thing.
In the meantime, I'm confused.
Which "End of Subscription Notification" do I take as the official off date for my accounts?
See, for a couple of my accounts, I got a notice on 9/1 that my subscription was ending due to "the credit card on file" being declined; then a couple more on 9/3. Then, on 9/8, all of the accounts from 9/1 and 9/3 were "ended" again for the same reasons.
So, uh, which date did they really disconnect?
I guess my faith in this new billing system, based largely on everything I've read, all of the nightmares propagating in this forum, and the system's own inability to decide what date access to my accounts has been terminated, is not exactly what one might call "high."
*shrugs*
So... uh... yeah... any thoughts on which is which?
