On the Help menu, "Character Copy is not enabled on this shard" WTH??

I opened my help menu to enter a code and noticed a new category that wasn't there the last time I opened it. It says, "Character copy is not enabled on this shard" WHAT? How? huh? I'm dumbfounded.... what the heck is this about?? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller?

In Warhammer Online you have character copy on the accout page. Its for copying your char for a Public test server....

Creating a copy of your Live character to play on the Public Test Server is easy, too. Visit your Mythic Account Center, login, and click on the Character Transfer Button above your Game Account profiles. Then, follow the instructions to the Character Transfer Center. Once you are in the Character Transfer Center you will see three options at the bottom. Select "character copy" and then fill in the information on the next page to choose the character you wish to copy.

Once you have confirmed the copy you can view the status of the transfer as it is processed. Please note that you may be required to change the name of your character to avoid naming conflicts. If for any reason there is an error with your transfer, you can click on the "More Details" option to find out why the Character Copy was unsuccessful.

That's all it takes to jump into the action and test the latest bleeding edge updates before they come to a server near you!

So UO most likely is going to have an updated feature from War in the future. The EC copies alot of the War client anyway.

Yes that what he meant by arenas. Will work in a similar fashion as RvR scenarios in Warhammer with even sides and controlled enviroment. They just havent been activated yet and been on the back burner for a while since the devs put in the game.

Arenas was postponed due to High Seas launching and prep for publish 69 at the end of December.

It is now back on internal testing.

The post you copied was me responding to him about arenas but the char copy which is an earlier post I already made. So are you trying to dispute Warhammer own defintion of char copy of the same system from the same company you work for?

Arena are a total waste of time for UO anyway. If you want to duel, there are hundreds of places in Felucca where you can do that without anyone ever coming by to interupt you.
