I saw that post as well, however, it does not state when this content will be approved, or if it will be, someone else stated they had something from last night approved already, but still waiting for stuff from friday to be approved, I cant help but wonder when those items will be approved as I am STILL waiting as well.

I, for one, am not going to freak out and run around screaming that the sky is falling or perpetuate silly rumors if I don't hear from the devs for a week. With over 32,000 objects to approve that have built up over the weekend (I'm sure none of you like to work seven days a week, why should Parizad?), Parizad has been busier than a one-legged person at an ass-kicking contest!

Last week on wednesday she sent out an ingame message that we were up to 20,000 cc items.
The blog says that it's now 21,500.

I guess we've uploaded 1,500 between thursday evening and now.
Still it seems to be accelerating

I have uploaded 20 items thursday, yet to be approved, i have since uploaded more friday - saturday - sunday - monday - tuesday. I had a few approved objects from tuesdays upload. It seems my last objects to upload are the first or only(in this and last weeks case) to get approved. This always seems to be the case, that recent uploads gets approved before last weeks uploads, I think it would be more fair to approve last weeks uploads before approving uploads from a few minutes ago, but then again im just a paying subscriber.

pretty soon all she's going to be doing all day long is approving

It really isn't going to work soon to have 1 person approving content. She can't work 24/7, she needs a break like everyone else, but the cc is going to back up more and more. EA needs to get someone else on the team to help out with the CC approvals. I think we should petition them to do so, citing that its too much to put all on one poor person.

Yeah. They must be anticipating that though, they know that custom made items for Sims is popular. Hopefully they have a plan in place.

I would say that would most likely be how it is listed, most recent first, so she probably just goes down the list when its time to approve more.
-- Just an educated guess as I have done similar things when it comes to approving things online.

I totally agree, this is way to much to put on one single person. I for one would be more than willing, if possible to donate time to help if there was a way to do that, as I am sure would many others still waiting on their items to be approved. I appreciate everything the Devs have done, but come on, unless the poor girl can approve in her sleep it has to be overwhelming.

Does it not strike anyone as strange, this message that was posted. After approximately a week with absolutely NO WORD from any representative of EA--a message that says no update will be done this week?

The clear implication of this message to me is that there is no update because NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE ON THE PROGRAM DURING THE PAST WEEK...hence no update.

Once again, it implies that either the development team has actually taken a time out to reconsider and assess the situation OR EA has called the development team off the project. Although I hope it's the former, I suspect it's the latter. Frankly, considering the direction this "refurbishment" has been going, I have the suspicion that EA is strongly considering cutting their loses and terminating. (Although I dearly loved the game, from a business standpoint I can't say I blame them.)

I love this game. I prey they don't pull the plug... at least without promising that Sims 3 will be online. There's such a huge market out there, and hopefully they can look at TS3O as a possible 'cure'.

It would require players to get better systems, but I think for the chance to have our world back we'd do it

My opinion is the program became so messed up with the bugs , glitches, and bad decisions (3k cap in TC3 comes to mind) it became a lost 'cause..telling us "we won't be able to update this week" is not keeping us posted, lol..remember Parizad's in game "we love you guys" message...that was sign one to me that the axe had fallen on EA Land

TS3 will not be online... its an offline game like the others.. with the ability to upload and download content only. They already have so much of that game done.. see for youself at www.thesims3.com
