Anyone know what the name was of the old UO video of the lighthouse with a morgan freeman voice over..It was about an island where people ended up in a boat and were eaten while they slept by the townspeople? A link would also be nice if anyone still has it or remembers it..thanks.

nah wasnt one of those.. it was posted somewhere here a year or two ago..the name is like right there....LOL
It was "The Lighthouse" by House of Een, an amazingly talented Europa player.

Unfortunately, the site just throws up a "can't find the server" error now.
Truly unique, it's a crying shame if no one saved it somewhere. Wish I had the technical know-how to do that as there are a few I wish I'd saved.

I'm not saying you're twisted or anything, Storm, (and, hey I like that in a person!) but...
With truly great films, sometimes our imaginations fill in blanks - blanks often intentionally left by the creator.
@ Fogsbane I've managed to find the Noxins.net page with the flashmovies on it, but I can't get the movies to load! *halp-halp!*

If anyone with the know-how is able to retrieve the "Hurt" flashmovie (they are all UO flashmovies), it's brilliant. I'm not sure if Wildcat made that one, but it's an incredibly moving tribute to what UO once was.

And I think you need a flash downloader I was looking it up!Flash downloaders seem not to work with the Wayback machine, and the tool that used to work seems to be unavailable just now - so I tried the 'quick and nasty' alternative.
Had CamStudio for a bit and never used it, but tried out capturing the screen area that the flash file used, and it seems to have worked out reasonably well, although the resulting file is 7mb or so and don't (yet!) know how I could shrink it and keep decent quality..
