Old player returning and has dumb question

Hi all,

This maybe really dumb, but can't you make backpacks and pouches anymore with tailoring?

I just started up a new account with the UOKR client just to try things out (yeah I turned the legacy graphics on first thing) and I finally figure out how to get onto Siege and lo and behold I am need of back packs, bags, and pouches (yes with classical backpack menu).

Now I could buy some from the NPCs but this is siege and I remember you could tailor them and yet its not listed as an item.

Maybe I'm over looking something but isn't there a way to make them yourself?

I don't play on SP, but on regular shards ,you can't craft backpacks or pouches, etc. If you have a carpenter, you can craft boxes and other containers to store your items.

Don't ever recall being able to make backpacks, however I haven't played seige much at all.

If I recall correctly you used to be able to make the small square shaped packs that were used for magic trapping to escape from paralyze spell. Don't think you can make them now. You can buy them from NPC or mabe go to Heartwood and pick up those left behind or do quests to get them. Carpentry can make boxes and such to hold stuff.
