[Price Check] Old old 20 charge non except no name runebooks

I know these use to be worth a ton years ago, but wondering if the very old full 20 charge no name and non exceptional runebooks are still worth anything? These were super old when you could make a full 20 charge that didn't mark or show except tag...

Guessing no one knows or cares to share? I would be happy to know either way. They use to be worth a lot since it was not suppose to be possible to make a full charge 20 book without it being Exceptional and or Marked.

Hey there Hunter, long time no see! Could you post a pic by chance or send a link to where one can be viewed? That may stir up enough old memories to produce an updated price check. I remember vaguely what you are talking about, but in today's gold I'm not sure where I'd put it. I guess now a days this would fall into the oddities category.

I think I understand. I don't have an answer on whether they are craftable as non-exceptional or not still. I am not sure if the 'charge-check' is based on the exceptional tag or the gm level of crafter.

Even if they aren't craftable, I'm not sure these would have a very high value - I'd honestly only put at maybe a 100k or so personally. You can still get 20 charge runebooks, just with a discreet exceptional tag so functional wise there is no difference. Folks that are looking to make libraries with rare runebooks are more inclined to want the old "___ of exceptional quality" or [exceptional] runebooks instead because they are more obviously rare. These unfortunately will look like most to simply be crafted runebooks.
