2nd snowfall in a week !!
White fluffies all over my sky, and my yard.

The weather peeps, said it was NOT supposed, to accumulate !!
AHEM, it is stickin ' thus it IS accumulating !

It's beginning to look and feel like a Wisconsin Christmas,
down here in dixie !!! BRRRRRRRRRR !

*I* did not move SOUTH from Green Bay,Wisconsin,
to get 'artic tundra' weather, down HERE !
My southern magnolia tree in my front yard, is shivering !!!

Tis bad enough, all I get to watch on tv, is the dagum Cowboys on FOX
when I wanna see them televise Packer games instead, on my tv.

Barely made a win, last go round, though !

Your info. on Uhall helped me to SEE stratics' longer threads,
without em all going into some *cloud.*

I was in Stratics default mode, clear back to 1998 or so, I never changed it.
Thus I was streaming too many posts per thread,
till I read your advice/advise ? !
Changed the amt. of threads etc. like ye said, Stratics works ok, now !

When my son got me into UO back in 1998, he also got me on Stratics,
the very day he got me into UO saying: Momma if ya ever need to know
what is going on what is new ya need to go to Stratics Forums !

But I was in the 'original Default mode' like all this time/years ! lol
Us old peeps are slooow to accept making ... changes ! haha

And if I moved further south,
it would take me another 6 months to fathom
deeper south's Mississippians southern-speak !

I am a yankee by birth.
Why it took me half a year to fathom/translate, what the heck people
were saying down here, when we first moved here.
That and living on the border like this,
I had to learn Memphian speak, ie Tenn speak [and] Mississippian speak. GAH

And then them Arkansans, cross the bridge, wearin their
go hogs/hawgs t-shirts,
and I still wonder, sometimes, what they heck they all are, a-sayin' !

But if a nor easterner hits yall just right,
ye be like my son, shoveling snows in Baltic Connecticut at times !

Although I do feel more *at home* around New England states and them folks

100 accidents yesterday in my neck of the woods!! Stupid snow.

I am waiting for tonite's evening news here too, sure as heck some idiot
or many had accidents drivin on this stuff.
They just do NOT know how to handle it here at all.
I even seen some folks just stop their car in middle of the freeway,
exit cars and wait for a thaw, till they try to drive home or to work
and the rest just slide all over & crack into one another !

We do own property in Arkansas, 11 acres by Norfolk lake,
but I doubt we will ever *retire* on our retirement land.
Our house here, is PAID FOR !
Why start up building a brand new house,
even on lovely scenery atop an Ozark mtn. top overlooking, huge lake below,
& then get stuck with a new mortgage and all that bs ?
We know HERE, been here, now, for too long.

We got that land some yrs ago,
cuz he had planned to fish for his retirement days catch trout and all that.

I kinda liked the nearest lil city, to our retirement land, Mountain Home, Ark. but heck, we are used to this noisy jets flyin 24.7 over my head, mega population now !

*well mega population, compared to peaceful Green Bay ! *

We will probably sell that land, yet when market gets better.
