I want to try out seige BUT I don't know what kind of character to make. I like the different aspects of the game. I love crafting things... but mostly for my other characters. I love mele, but it is a lot easier to bring a mage to some battles. I am not going to pay for more then one account to play on seige. What would you recommend me to start playing?

I would recomend NEW guild, as a start. Get to know some folks and network with others. I you can not find a NEW leader before tomorrow. I will be off all day on Friday. Any questions please feel free to ask here or in game chat.

Um well you can change your plans as you go my suggestion would be plan on starting with magery if you decide to drop it or stone it later you can... but theres no recall or other forms of transport on siege its walking or gateing... so most people run magery... and also stat gain is a bit wonkey here.. you can only gain 15 a day and those gains are 15 apart so make sure you start with enough str to wear a lrc suit and everything else in mana... it will make your life a lot easier...

beyond that come play around a bit start with that in mind and expand your template training skills here is a bit different too with ROT you cant just "Make a char over night" like you can on production shards doing everything as fast as possible still takes 4-7 days Id say... depending on your choices some things are easier/cheaper here to do and all our prices are much lower then production shards... also i highly recommend you use gen chat =) and here to keep in touch with folks =) there are lots of people that will offer you assistance =) including further template help

oh yeah don't forget to lock your str and dex when you start trust me if you do any mana useing skills your gonna want your int up first

As for my chrs. all I canz do is make ya a chair to sit on, or a fishin pole, or some gate scrolls.

Ok, I am definately way behind the times, I have come back and I was training based on the old standard ROT gains of 3.6 a day. I am way happier over that now I will train those skills to finish my character.
