Oh Yay, new puter has arrived...

Let's see if I can figure this new spiffy laptop out.

Reads Packing slip:
Dell Studio 17, 9 cell lith. battery, wireless mobile broadband um sure whatever must be faster than my dial up, 8X DVD+RW dual whatevers, um ok whatever, intel core i7 720Q< 1.6GHz (2.8Ghz Turbo Mode) 6MB cache, um whatever sure, backlit keyboard special order check, ATI MOBILERADEON HD 46590 1GB whatevers, 4GB, DDR3,1333MHz,
2 DIMM...aye perhaps I am 2DIM to figure this out...

OH spiffy designer laptop cover design yay special ordered that..

1. Remove laptop from shipping crate. *check*

2. Remove laptop from packaging materials. *check*

3. Read instructions on what to do with it and how to...
pick a language of your choice..umm German no, Chinese, um no,
Spanish..um no...surely there are some instructions in USA English ??

2 DIMM haha comes with lojack and some skype crap too.

Um let me put it this way...... hubby has ATT *external device* that is his provider on his 2.5 yr. old Dell Vista Insprion laptop.

When I ordered MINE, they *Dell* said they no longer do *external device* it is now built INTO the laptops. I selected ATT cuz if in theory husband can get connected on HIS laptop in our home in a nanno second... then, I should be able to, TOO...press one if you wish to speak in English to ATT, press 2 if you wish to tell ATT you are a confusing customer for ATT living upon & in a border of 2 area codes, um ...should work....*in theory* ! rolleyes:


But atm I am too busy gawking wonderously at the art work, I special ordered, so if I never get this to work, I got me a $piffy art piece.

Dell may be cornering a market on ...individualisation of laptops !

Not to worry I am NOT disconnecting me pokey dial up on this Win XP till this newbie i7 laptop and I are working together, connected & in sync !! IF ! lol
