Odds of getting the dev's drunk enough to add Mark to chivalry?

Hail Folks,

Paladin "special abilities" are almost universally granted them by their deity based upon their unwavering obedience to their deity and Paladin codes. While UO Stratics may lump them in a Forum which includes Magery etc, Paladin abilities are not magical, but divine.

Just as Paladins are unable to cast recall absent some magical aids, they are equally unable to cast mark. Their dieties expect them to rely upon their divine intervention for such "magik-like" travel.

All this said, the UO Dev(ils) may do just about anything (for better or more often worse) so your wish may one day become their command.

I, however, prefer it the way it currently is.

I sure love my paladin using his divine power in conjunction with the ultimate darkness power of necromancy while using Samurai moves as his fighting style... just feel like to throw it in there.

I think chiv is completely fine as is but I really dont mind DEVs adding more top end stuff to chiv and make focus skill to determine its potency.

*Thy deity appears in thy dreams*

"My child, thy studies in the dark arts hath greatly disturbed me. Whilst I do not frown upon thy studies in the bodily martial prowess from the Oriental lands, I lack patience with those of my children that succumb to the evil arts. Shouldst thee fail to curb thy use of necromancy, thou wouldst find those spells I granted thee wane in strength.

However, I am not without benevolence. How thee balance thy scales is up to thee."

*Thou awaken from thy dreams and ponders upon the word "balance"*

Why can't Paladins(clerics) Bless? If anyone, I would think it would be them. I understand that Mages got the bless spell because there was no Chivalry at skill conception(at least did not make it into the game until years after release).
