Oceania Bug with Ornithologists Brush Vanishing

So... after getting the brush in Moonglow zoo it seems i cant go anywhere without the brush vanishing as soon as i leave Moonglow.

Happens with both clients and doesnt matter what character.

Whats the story with this ????

When will this issue be resolved.

People are complaining about it, and logged it as a bug, yet nothing gets done.

Haven't heard of anyone on other shards complaining about this. Sounds like the different sub-servers on Oceania have a clock-sync problem and they don't all have the correct time. When you go to a different sub-server it thinks the time has fully elapsed and it goes *poof*.

Only a dev can fix that issue. Have to wait till they get in on Monday.

Tested and confirmed on Oceania.

Will test other shards. I can confirm Origin does not have this issue.

Just tested this myself:

"Your Ornithologist's Brush expired..." as soon as I went through the moongate.

The same thing happens with the Corgul quest map. It dissappears on leaving the dungeon. Simularites of both were reported to an ingame GM on the 18th and on the UOherald report a bug. (Corgul bug reported over 3 mnths ago, also appears to work on other servers but not Oceania).

The Corgul quest map's bug existed in oceania for a long time! Please fix it!

Can you drop the brush off in your bank before you leave Moonglow island? Might be a workaround until the core issue is resolved.

you cant more the brush from your backpack, so no that wont work.

nothing happens, its not an issue with the character, its an issue with the server

Any updates on whether we actually get to do the quest before it ends? Or do we just take is as granted that we miss out again?

I have submitted a bug report.

Can someone also verify that this is still the case after Ocenaia has been down for a long time over the weekend. Maybe they fixed it with whatever caused Oceania to crash for such a long time.

I cant check this for a couple of days.

This is now resolved.

Seems they fixed it during the days outage last weekend.
