If you HONESTLY believe that only 1% of the UO player base is 14 year accounts, you are DREAMING!

I would wager that the VAST majority of the current player base is the very people that have been playing since the early days of the game...

Thanks for joining Stratics and voicing your opinion. If you are a UO player and are new, I do NOT believe that your opinion is any less than mine as a 14 yr vet...we are ALL a dying breed.

and everyone can buy a transfer token and move from one shard to another.. its not like they dont exist elsewhere.

If it isn't you probably need reminding that character transfer tokens are way more powerful than the transfer shields. Also the "99%" are all all able to use those tokens too. In fact the 100% can use all use them

I do understand how transfer tokens work and I have no desire to change shards. But I think it would be great to have a sheild for my home shards and another 1 or 2 for other populated shards where I could so and shop once a month with out having to buy a token every single time.

You can just start a new thread called "Welfare UO" and you can be it's President.

There IS a difference in a 14 year old account and a new one:

IT'S CALLED DEDICATION TO THE GAME.

This system is in place and only poor-mouthed by people that have newer accounts.. YET many of the absolutely BEST rewards, i.e. full soulstones and commodity deed boxes, are available for 1st year rewards...

By your argument and reasoning, comparing this to "Occupy Wall Street", we should just give someone that has simply PAID HIS FIRST MONTHS DUES access to every reward...?
